Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Writing Teacher and ESL (English/Mandarin) Teacher to inspire students in developing their language skills, literacy, and cultural understanding. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft individualized instruction that caters to diverse learning styles, including students with disabilities. The successful candidate will design engaging curricula, utilize innovative learning technologies, and foster a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation and growth. Paid positions are available, including internships, with a focus on nurturing a love for language and effective communication. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs, learning goals, and language proficiency levels in English and Mandarin. Deliver engaging instruction across various platforms, including traditional classrooms and e-learning environments, utilizing advanced learning technology tools. Create customized curricula that incorporate literacy education principles, writing skills development, and foreign language teaching strategies. Adapt teaching methods dynamically to accommodate students with diverse abilities, including those with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities. Employ classroom management techniques that foster a respectful, inclusive atmosphere conducive to active learning and student engagement. Incorporate multimedia resources and digital platforms to enhance language acquisition and facilitate remote or hybrid learning experiences. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Skills Proven experience in classroom teaching, lesson planning, and curriculum development for language learners. Strong writing skills with the ability to teach effective communication in English and Mandarin. Expertise in instructional adaptability to meet individual student needs through personalized instructions. Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning technology tools, and digital resources for language education. Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds, including students with disabilities. Knowledge of classroom management best practices to maintain an organized and positive learning environment. Ability to teach foreign languages effectively, especially English and Mandarin, with a focus on literacy education. Experience working with students who have special educational needs or require tailored instructional approaches. Basic understanding of Japanese language or culture is a plus but not mandatory.
