Competitive, based on experience Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Spanish Teacher to provide standards-based instruction to K-12 students in a supportive educational setting. The teacher will deliver instruction to students with visual impairments and may also work with students who have additional disabilities. This role requires strong classroom management, lesson planning, adaptability, and the ability to support individualized learning needs in accordance with student IEPs and state standards. Responsibilities Provide Spanish instruction to students on an individual and group basis. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning goals. Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs. Support and monitor student progress through assessments, data collection, and progress reporting. Collaborate with education staff, support teams, and administrators to develop and implement student objectives. Maintain a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and team members. Participate in school meetings, training sessions, professional development, and field trips as required. Integrate appropriate technology and instructional tools to support student learning. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university. Must hold or be eligible for appropriate educator licensure in the State of Tennessee. Spanish subject area endorsement required. Experience working with students with visual impairments or special needs preferred. Willingness to obtain Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement within the required timeframe, if applicable.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Spanish subject area endorsement required. Willingness to obtain Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement within the required timeframe, if applicable. 6+ Months contract with
PAY:
