  • $107,141 DOE 2026-2027 Salary Schedule TBD Open until filled, first review of applications: May 8, 2026 Medical, Dental, Vision, WA State Retirement, 403(b), Sick Leave, Personal Days, WA State Family Leave Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish or related field Valid Washington State teaching certification/license with Spanish endorsement General Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in alignment with Washington State standards and curriculum guidelines Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and collaboration Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs and styles of students Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and engagement Assess student learning through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and foster cross-curricular connections Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support student success Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of current educational trends Preferred Qualifications Ability to articulate and implement effective practices to assist second-language learners and Special Education students Ability and desire to coach athletics and/or advise clubs Commitment to participate in extra-curricular activities Knowledge of working within an extended period classroom AVID, GLAD, and/or SIOP trained Personal Attributes Ability to inspire and motivate students High moral and ethical standards High expectations for self and others Team player and highly collaborative
