201914 General Statement Adjunct Faculty will teach course(s) within a specific discipline to a diverse student population at our Downtown Worcester campus or specified Off Campus Laboratory Site (OCLS). Responsibilities will include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance and assistance to student providing didactic and or laboratory/clinical instruction. Individuals must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and can build successful relationships with students and faculty. Utilize available technologies to provide a variety of innovative approaches to instructional design and content delivery, maximizing student engagement and learning outcomes. Other duties are assigned.Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in respiratory care with a minimum of five years of experience or equivalent in Respiratory Care completed in a full-service healthcare setting, or a Baccalaureate degree with appropriate education courses with a minimum of three years of experience or equivalent in Respiratory Care completed in a full-service healthcare setting. Valid and Current Massachusetts license in Respiratory Care. Possess and maintains the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree or higher. Experienced in teaching, preferably in a community or technical college setting. Possess advanced Respiratory credentials (i.e., RPFT, ACCS, NPS, SDS) from the National Board of Respiratory Care. Demonstrates a commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate.
