Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Biology Department invites applications for adjunct faculty positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. These part-time positions become available in Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 for a variety of non-major Biology courses, including in general biology, genetics, environmental dynamics, and anatomy & physiology. The ability to teach in-person on-campus is expected.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MA or MS degree or higher in the biological sciences required. Experience and ability to positively interact with diverse student populations and groups. Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College-level teaching experience is preferred. Scheduled weekly hours vary depending on class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.
