Job Title Adjunct Instructor Essential Job Functions Demonstrates commitment to teaching, supervision, and advising Delivers learning-centered instruction Conducts assessments of student and program learning outcomes Prepares for courses as needed, including completing required training/certification Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and collegiality Other related duties, as assigned Qualifications Minimum Education Terminal degree in Business or Master's degree with 18 graduate credits in one or more of the disciplines (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Management Science) Minimum Experience At least one year teaching experience at the university level. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledge and ability to teach courses online, synchronous as well as asynchronous; use of Canvas, knowledge of the subject, skill in delivering required knowledge and ability to engender learning in students. Working knowledge of common learning management systems such as Banner and Canvas Communication skills: Clearly conveys information and ideas to others both verbally and in writing.
