Position Summary The School of Business at Portland State University seeks candidates for a three-year fixed term, full-time, non-tenure track position to teach 36 credit hours of Business Technology & Analytics (BTA) courses across three quarters per the 9-month academic year. A limited amount of service activities to either the University, School of Business or BTA area, as well as engagement with the business community is expected.

Requirements for the position include:

A Master's degree in a discipline with a focus on business and technology, such as Information Systems, Data Science, Technology Management, Technology Entrepreneurship, or related field, Recent experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate university students relevant business courses, Evidence of high-quality teaching, Experience working with or documented knowledge of two of the following: Python, SQL, data science and analytics methods, text analytics, deep learning, and advanced MS Excel skills, An interest in teaching in both traditional in person as well as online modes and both undergraduate and graduate courses.
