Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Finance (Position #50635)
Job Description
SMU's Cox School of Business invites applications for non-tenure track position (50635) in the Finance Department. Competitive applicants should have a Ph.D. in Finance (or a related field such as Economics), an established record of high-quality teaching, and demonstrated contributions to the field or industry. Faculty will be expected to teach 18 credit hours per year, participate in university service and to deliver high-quality in-person and online instruction in courses across the School's undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, which include online teaching. The position will begin in Fall 2027. Salary and teaching load are competitive, as is support for research and instruction. Minimum qualifications : Graduate degree in Finance or a related field such as Economics; 1-3 years experience teaching finance courses at a university level, preferably at a business school. Preferred qualifications : Ph.D. in Finance or Economics; established record of high-quality teaching at a university level; in-person and online teaching experience; demonstrated contributions to the field or industry.
