Physical Science Description Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for General Chemistry courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom. Minimum Qualifications
  • M.S. in Chemistry or Ph.D. in Pharmacy or Ph.D. in Biochemistry. M.S. in Chemistry; or M.A. and 18credit hours in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
  • Previous teaching experience in higher education, community college preferred.
  • Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred.
  • Previous online instruction required where appropriate.
  • Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Supplemental Information
STATUS/SALARY
This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.
