Job Description
Dart Swim School is looking for swim instructors for their Fall Swim School. Instructors are needed Mondays-Thursdays 3:15-6:15. Additional hours on Wednesdays 2:00-3:20 . Classes are held in September and October, with the possibility of continuing after. Instructors do not need to be available for all of these hours; we work with your availability. Instructors will use Dart Swim School curriculum to teach swimming to 18 month-10 year old children in small groups. The focus is on water safety and basic swim skills. There is a mandatory paid 2 hour training prior to beginning teaching. We are located at Community Swim Pool in Davis, Ca. Experience working with children, knowledge of swimming skills, and/or previous coaching/swim instruction experience preferred. Swim instructors are not required to have Lifeguarding certification but that is a plus.
