Part-time / Full-time (Flexible hours) About Us ILS Services is a vendor with Alta Regional Center dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities build independence and live more fulfilling lives. We focus on teaching essential life skills rather than doing tasks for our clients, while also building meaningful and supportive relationships. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and friendly individuals to join our team as Independent Living Skills (ILS) Instructors. In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients to help them develop everyday life skills and gain independence. Responsibilities Teach clients essential daily living skills such as: Cooking and meal preparation Cleaning and home organization Money management and budgeting Provide guidance and support during daily routines Transport clients to appointments (e.g., doctor visits, errands) Encourage independence while offering appropriate support Build positive, respectful relationships with clients Document progress and communicate with supervisors as needed Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities (required) Background in caregiving, support work, or related field preferred Friendly, patient, and respectful attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check What We're Looking For Individuals who are kind, well-mannered, and dependable People who genuinely enjoy helping others grow and succeed Team members who can build trust and positive connections with clients Pay & Benefits Hourly pay $22 Flexible scheduling Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives How to Apply Please apply through Indeed or contact us at EasyLife. caring @gmail.com with your resume and a brief description of your experience. Benefits:
Flexible schedule Mileage reimbursement Paid training Duties Develop and implement individualized plans focused on enhancing independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, medication management, and meal preparation. Support clients in navigating community resources, transportation, and social activities to promote community integration. Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behaviors and address challenging situations with patience and professionalism. Collect and document data on client progress, behavior patterns, and skill acquisition to inform ongoing support strategies. Communicate clearly with clients using various methods including verbal communication and American Sign Language when applicable. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols during all activities and supporting clients' physical well-being.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
