Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Head Youth Volleyball Coach to lead and inspire young athletes in developing their volleyball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Duties Plan, organize, and execute volleyball practices and games tailored to various age groups and skill levels with help and guidance from our veteran staff Develop training programs that emphasize fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork while fostering individual growth Lead team meetings, motivate players, and promote a positive team culture focused on respect and perseverance Monitor player performance during practices and competitions, providing constructive feedback to improve skills Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health protocols, managing behavior, and implementing emergency procedures including AED operation and first aid when necessary Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding team updates, player progress, and upcoming events Coordinate with assistant coaches or other staff to ensure smooth operations during training sessions and tournaments Requirements Proven experience coaching volleyball Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate young athletes and manage team dynamics effectively Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff in a clear and positive manner Knowledge of sports-specific training techniques, including fundamentals of volleyball gameplay and strategy Experience working with children or adolescents in a coaching or childcare setting Ability to perform first aid procedures including CPR certification; AED operation knowledge is preferred Background in other sports such is advantageous Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster respectful conduct during practices and games Physical ability to demonstrate volleyball techniques and participate actively in training sessions Join us as our Head Youth Volleyball Coach to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives!
