Contact Email htorres@monroviaschools.net Job Summary Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified Head Coach for the Monrovia High School Girls Water Polo Program. With direction/supervision from the Principal and/or Athletic Director the applicant:
  • Must have previous experience coaching or playing water polo.
  • Must have knowledge of the game of water polo.
  • Must be able to teach, basic/intermediate/advanced skills of water polo.
  • Conduct practices and instruct players regarding water polo skills and techniques.
  • Travel to practices and away water polo games.
  • Supervise water polo team at all water polo related activities
  • Communicate with parents regarding expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with the Athletic Director and administration on all issues related to games, practices, players, and parents.

  • "Heat Illness Prevention" Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com)
CPR & First Aid:
evidence of current certification. MUST be recognized by the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. (Online Courses Unacceptable) (See Aquatics Only)
    TB Test:
    evidence of current negative test OR Adult TB Risk Assessment Form.
    • Current Driver License at time of employment.

    • Current American Red Cross certification in Safety Training for Swim Coaches (No Online Courses), or
    • Current American Red Cross certification in Lifeguard Training (No Online Courses), or
