About Us East Bay United Soccer Club (EBU) is a community-based youth soccer club serving players across Oakland and the East Bay. Our competitive program, Bay Oaks, develops boys and girls from U8 through U19 who want to take their game to the next level. We believe soccer builds character, confidence, and community, and we're committed to making high-quality development accessible to every player who wants it. The Role We're looking for passionate, patient coaches to lead Bay Oaks teams. You'll plan and run training sessions, coach on game days, and help young players grow both as athletes and as people. Openings are available across age groups for boys and girls teams. What You'll Do Plan and lead age-appropriate training sessions focused on technical, tactical, and personal development Coach teams at league games and tournaments Communicate clearly and respectfully with players, parents, and club staff Create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where every player feels valued Support the club's player development philosophy and mission What We're Looking For Playing experience is a plus (high school, college, semi-pro, or higher level) Coaching experience is essential (1 year minimum) A teacher's mindset: you understand how kids learn and can break the game down in ways players understand Patience and a genuine love of working with young people Belief in our mission of player development and community Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must pass a background check and complete required SafeSport and concussion training (club can support certification)
Pay:
$22.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 30.0 per week
