Job Summary Job Summary Under supervision of the Athletic Administrator and Athletic Director, instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary to promote individual and team success. Provide student-athletes with athletic instruction that leads to the formulation of good sportsmanship, acceptable social behavior, moral values, self-discipline and self-confidence. Supports school athletic program, athletic director and performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge of skills, strategies, and safe procedures in the specified activity.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Ensure that all rules and regulations regarding conduct, safety, and eligibility are communicated and followed.
  • Communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with student-athletes, parents/guardians, the athletic department, administration, teachers, other coaches, officials, and opponents.
  • Maintain all required coaching certifications and district-mandated training.
  • Complete all required forms, reports, and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Uphold and enforce all CIF, league, district, and school policies.

  • Must meet legal requirements, including fingerprinting, current First Aid and CPR Certification, TB screening results, Heat Illness, Concussion, Fundamentals of Coaching, Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses and other compliance training assigned by the district to be completed prior to assignment.
  • Please note that all required documentation must be attached to your application in order to be considered to move forward in the hiring process.
  • Failure to attach all documentation will result in your application being screened out of the process.
  • To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and reference checks.
