In this role, you will assist our clients in achieving peak performance and reaching their athletic goals through both strength and conditioning and specialized baseball instruction. The Sports Complex in Rolling Hills Estates, CA, is a multi-sport facility offering sport-specific skills training and athletic performance programming. Partnered with Velocity Sports Performance, we are seeking a coach to train athletes ranging from youth to collegiate and professional levels. Role Responsibilities Baseball Skills Coaching Conduct private 1-on-1, semi-private, and small-group baseball lessons focusing on hitting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning. Plan, organize, and lead seasonal baseball clinics, seasonal camps, and team training sessions. Assess player mechanics, leverage video feedback or performance tech where applicable, and implement progressive development plans. Prepare youth and high school players for competitive travel ball, high school showcases, and collegiate recruitment. Velocity Sports Performance Training Coach youth, student-athletes, adults, and elite teams using the Velocity curriculum for movement, speed, power, strength, and injury prevention. Deliver baseline athlete assessments, tailored program design, and ongoing progress tracking. Utilize effective coaching cues and biomechanical techniques to maximize athletic output. Stay current on continuing education regarding the Velocity curriculum and contemporary strength and conditioning practices. Community & Facility Engagement Attend local games, tournaments, and showcase events to scout and connect with local leagues and travel ball organizations. Build long-term relationships with local schools, club programs, and athletic directors. Maintain a clean, organized, professional training environment and batting cage/turf area. Client Experience & Retention Communicate consistently with athletes and parents regarding skill progression and performance metrics. Drive clinic enrollment, lesson renewals, and referrals through high-level service and facility ambassadorship.
