Company Description:
SEMSA (Sacramento Elite Minor Soccer Academy) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit soccer skills training academy focused on developing soccer skills for boys and girls ages 5-14 years of age. Our objective is to foster the growth of recreational, pre-competitive, and academy players to help them establish a strong soccer foundation. Youth Soccer Camp Coach SEMSA, a skills-based youth academy, holds youth soccer clinics and camps throughout the year. SEMSA is looking to hire a fun and energetic soccer coach for a part-time on-site position. This position is a paid position that requires coaches to organize skills sessions for players participating in our youth skills academy.Essential Functions:
- Coach age and developmentally appropriate games, exercises, activities, and scrimmages.
- Provide a fun and engaging learning environment that fosters growth in players.
- Adhere to and implements the SEMSA tailored curriculum.
- Self-starter who can work with very little supervision.
- Always represents the SEMSA organization in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Soccer playing, or coaching experience.
- A love and passion for soccer. A passion to fostering player development.
- Ability to adapt and apply SEMSA curriculum and training plans.
- Brings a positive attitude and mentorship to developing youth players.
- Passes a background check.
- 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
- USSF Grassroots Soccer Certification or higher.
- First Aid/ CPR certification.
- Soccer coaching experience a plus.
