We aim to positively impact children's lives and get them active from a young age to increase confidence, teach team dynamics, encourage sportsmanship, and do our part to prevent childhood obesity. We are looking for AMAZING Hip Hop and/or Cheerleading Instructors who have a passion for working with and teaching kids! This position requires commitment to your classes and helping children learn the basics dance and cheer. Instructors must be reliable, responsible, punctual, able to work independently or in a team setting, and most of all, always be focused on the best interest of your students. Fit Kids America's #1 rule is making sure students are SAFE and having fun. Protocols are taught during training and MUST be followed. There will be paid in person training prior to starting. This part-time job allows flexibility! Working with Fit Kids allows college students, part time or full time workers and/or retirees to get out and move with the kids! Choose the schedule that works for you. Work 5 days a week or 1. All staffing is based on coach availability and registrations. Classes begin between 12:30 pm-4:00 pm. Total time paid per class is 1.5 hours. Classes held weekdays only. Also one day of lunch time play on Wednesdays 10:40-1:40 (
NOTE:
Generally it is only possible to work one class a day due to school dismissal times. Consider if this is enough hours for you.) Class time is 1 hour plus 15 minutes before and after for set up and student dismissal/pick up. Each shift is scheduled for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Coaches must be able to teach dance/cheer basics and interact with elementary school kids. Fit Kids America will provide all equipment, give training, routines and the ability to contact long time coaches. This will help plan your classes successfully.
