Marin Academy Girls Head Junior Varsity Tennis Coach Marin Academy is seeking candidates for their Girl's Junior Varsity Tennis Head Coach position. In addition to having strong tennis knowledge and coaching experience, candidates must be professional and positive and have flexible afternoon and evening schedules. A strong candidate for this position would have head coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate levels. The season runs from Monday, August 10, 2026 through mid-to-late October 2026.

Qualifications :

Recent high school coaching experience is preferred. Recent high school coaching experience is preferred. College playing experience is preferred; high school or current competitive team Tennis experience (USTA, etc.) expected.

Ability to teach solid tennis strategy and skills to developing athletes. Someone organized, patient, upbeat, and able to motivate both players and assistant coaches. A coach who models good sportsmanship and builds a fun, competitive team culture. Comfortable working with athletes of different skill levels and backgrounds. Willing to follow league/CIF rules and school policies. Able to handle equipment, facilities, injury reporting, and team supervision. CPR/First Aid/Concussion/Heat Illness certified (or willing to get certified).

Flexible for afternoon practices, matches, and occasional school-break periods.

Other Job Duties :

Attend required pre- and post-season coach meetings. Participate in the year-end Athletic Awards Celebration. Share scores/results with the Athletic Department and keep basic season stats. Help with selecting assistant coaches. Maintain a positive, consistent approach to team discipline.

Additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

$2,500-$4,000 Must have a CA driver's license, TB test, and LiveScan background check. CIF-required ASEP or NFHS CA Coaching Certification.
