Turn your swim skills into a job that makes a splash! The Osher Marin JCC is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and encouraging Swim Instructors to join our Aquatics team. You'll work with swimmers of all ages and abilities, helping them build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the water. With flexible scheduling and up to 18 hours per week available, this is a great opportunity to fit meaningful work around school, another job, or a busy schedule. You'll meet swimmers where they are and help them progress in a safe, positive environment. Teach private and group swim lessons to swimmers of varying ages and skill levels Set clear goals and adapt instruction to each swimmer's needs and abilities Create a positive, encouraging environment that helps swimmers feel comfortable and confident in the water Follow all JCC pool rules, safety standards, and current water safety practices Arrive on time and prepared for each lesson Maintain consistent availability and communicate scheduling needs with the Swim Instruction Manager Communicate professionally with swimmers, parents, managers, and other JCC staff Attend required Swim Instructor meetings and trainings Help cover lessons when needed due to instructor illness or schedule changes Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications Work collaboratively with Lifeguards and follow pool safety directions Help create the welcoming, inclusive environment our JCC community is known for What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is patient, positive, reliable, and comfortable working with people of all ages and abilities.
