RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Provide swim lesson instruction for varying ages.
• Begin and end class on time, remain after class to answer participant and/or parent questions as needed, and clean up supplies.
• Educate participants on proper technique and promote swimmer safety.
• Provide lesson plans as appropriate.
• Submit attendance information on time.
• Perform water chemical balance tests prior to and after swim lessons.
• Maintain a clean facility performing house cleaning duties.
• Provide for the health and safety of participants, including ensuring that all teaching and practice areas are free of hazards and that materials and equipment are safe. Maintain cleanliness and safety of pools and equipment.
• Tend to accident or emergency situations in accordance with accident/incident protocols and/or emergency action plans.
• Attend mandatory meetings
• Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
• Experience working with students with special needs.

:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to positively interact with the public.

• Previous experience teaching swimming lessons
