Youth Sports Coach Train Goat Gainz Conejo Valley, CA Job Details Contract $25.13 - $30.27 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Working with youth Full Job Description Goat Kidz is growing and seeking experienced youth sports coaches to join our team. We provide sports instruction, skill development, athletic training, and recreational programming for children ranging from preschool through high school. We are looking for coaches who are knowledgeable, energetic, great with kids, and able to make training both productive and fun. Responsibilities Coach youth sports classes, clinics, and training sessions Work with athletes one on one, in small groups, and in large groups Teach sport-specific fundamentals and skill development Lead developmentally appropriate drills and activities Adapt coaching for different ages, skill levels, and learning styles Maintain positive group and behavior management Create a safe, organized, energetic, and encouraging environment Promote confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and effort Set up and break down sports equipment as needed Communicate professionally with families and Goat Kidz staff Qualifications Previous experience in coaching, athletic training, youth sports, recreation, teaching, or a related field Strong knowledge of at least one sport or athletic specialty Comfortable working with athletes from preschool through high school Strong communication and group management skills Ability to make practices and training sessions fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Dependable, patient, energetic, and professional Reliable transportation Successful completion of all legally permitted background screening requirements for work with minors is required Experience in basketball, football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, speed and agility, conditioning, or other sport-specific training is welcomed. Schedule This is a part-time contracted role averaging approximately 5 to 20 hours per week. Hours vary based on class assignments, private training, enrollment, and seasonal needs.
