Assistant Middle School Rowing Coach Greenwich Crew Cos Cob, CT Job Details Temporary | Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Youth fitness Sports coaching experience Experience working with middle schoolers Rowing Teaching Working with youth Full Job Description Greenwich Crew is looking for motivated individuals to work with our middle school rowing programs. Our fall season starts August 29th and runs through the last week of October. Practices run Monday- Thursday after school, with Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday options available. Candidates should have an ability to engage, teach and develop kids in an athletic setting. Teaching a sport means making it fun for the athletes. Previous competitive rowing experience is helpful but is not required for this position. We have found success in hiring teachers and fitness trainers. Candidates will have the opportunity to obtain a Connecticut Safe Boating certificate and become CPR certified.
