• 55 per hour About High Rise Basketball High Rise Basketball is one of Fairfield County's premier youth basketball organizations, providing elite coaching, player development, AAU teams, camps, leagues, and training programs for boys and girls.

As High Rise continues to grow, we are seeking passionate basketball coaches to join our coaching staff for the Fall 2026 AAU season. Coaches may be assigned to teams practicing at either our High Rise Headquarters in Stamford or our Greenwich Country Day School location in Greenwich , based on experience, availability, and organizational needs. If you are passionate about teaching the game, developing young athletes, and making a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Head coach one High Rise AAU team (Grades 3-8) Plan and lead two organized team practices each week Coach approximately five weekend tournaments throughout the fall season Teach basketball fundamentals, teamwork, basketball IQ, and sportsmanship Foster a positive, competitive, and player-focused team culture Communicate professionally with parents and High Rise leadership Arrive prepared, organized, and on time for all practices and games Represent High Rise Basketball with professionalism on and off the court Schedule Fall AAU Season (September-November 2026) Two weeknight practices each week Approximately five weekend tournaments Practice locations may include: High Rise Headquarters

• Greenwich, CT Preferred Qualifications Previous basketball coaching experience (AAU, travel, recreation, middle school, or high school) High school or college playing experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Passion for player development Positive attitude and high energy Ability to build relationships with players and families Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Compensation $35•55 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications Consistent seasonal schedule Opportunities for year-round coaching with High Rise Basketball, including AAU, camps, clinics, leagues, and player development programs Coach education and mentorship within one of the area's fastest-growing basketball organizations Why High Rise?
