The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced coach looking for a professional homebase that offers both stability and limitless reach? The U provides a unique, multifaceted platform to expand your impact across three pillars: our award-winning digital ecosystem, luxury senior living partnerships, and our flagship high-performance center in Stamford. What You'll Do (Core Pillars): Deliver high-impact personal training (1-on-1 and small group) at our flagship facility, focusing on physical and mental peak performance. Drive results through specialized modalities, including PrescriptFit® medical conditioning, performance rehab, and behavioral coaching. Lead luxury senior wellness initiatives, integrating strength, cardio, and recovery to foster a high-performance lifestyle for aging populations. Scale your presence via our global digital platform, providing live voice-coaching and premium on-demand content. Why Join The U? Qualifications:
Position Requirements:
A proven track record (2 - 4+ years) of driving client results in professional fitness settings. Must hold a current fitness certification from either ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NASM, NCSA, AFAA, NFPT or have a completed degree in an exercise science-related field. The capacity to display patience and empathy when working with seniors, as well as to provide appropriate exercise modifications when required. High-energy communication skills and the ability to command both a digital platform and a gym floor. Flexible location; for local candidates, virtual classes can be taught on-site at The U's flagship location in Stamford, CT; otherwise, virtual classes can be taught at the candidate's location of choice, if approved. Collaboration with the Training Director and Senior Fitness Coordinator to ensure performance standards and participation goals are being met. Successful completion of the class audition process. The willingness to learn, grow, and integrate within a dynamic and established team. Initial 3-month probationary period.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience working with clients aged 70 years old+, and/or a relevant senior fitness or specialty population certification. Experience conducting live virtual workouts and/or recording polished workout content. Background or additional certifications in nutrition, rehabilitation, or behavioral modifications.
