"We are all athletes." Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and inspiring Movement Specialist to join the growing team at our Stamford facility. This role is focused on delivering transformative results and an unmatched client experience. There is potential to grow into a full-time position, as well as career advancement opportunities within Matterhorn Fit. Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Coaching Lead one-on-one, small group, and team-based strength and conditioning sessions using the Matterhorn Method. Deliver individualized training programs that improve movement quality, strength, power, mobility, and overall performance. Adapt training based on each client's goals, movement assessment, injury history, and stage of development. Coach youth athletes, active adults, and high-performing individuals with attention to proper technique, movement quality, and measurable progress. Monitor client performance and continually adjust programming to maximize results. Collaboration Work closely with the Neurological Rehabilitation team to ensure a seamless transition from rehabilitation into performance training. Communicate effectively with fellow coaches regarding client progress, goals, and programming. Consistently apply the Matterhorn Method and maintain the highest standards of coaching and client care. Professionalism Build strong relationships with clients through professionalism, accountability, and exceptional service. Arrive prepared for every session and maintain accurate client records and program notes as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment. Community & Culture Represent Matterhorn Fit with professionalism both inside and outside the facility. Support facility events, community outreach initiatives, and educational workshops when opportunities arise. Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented environment that motivates clients and reflects Matterhorn Fit's culture of excellence. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in performance training, rehabilitation, or sports science CSCS, NASM-PES, or equivalent certification required Deep understanding of biomechanics, corrective exercise, and neurological influence on movement Strong interpersonal skills and passion for helping others reach their potential Background in working with a wide range of clientele, from youth athletes to active aging adults
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
