Academy Head Coach for 2011 Boys A Team (U15) Dc Way Academy Washington, DC Job Details Part-time $35
You'll work directly under our Technical Director, Toti, and have the opportunity to get involved in other academy programs—like camps, clinics, or after-school sessions—if that interests you. What you'll be doing Lead weekly training sessions and coach the team on matchdays Prepare thoughtful, engaging practices that reflect our academy's methodology and philosophy Commit to three evening trainings per week, plus weekend matches and occasional tournaments Keep open, consistent communication with players and families about expectations, progress, and schedules Serve as the main point of contact for your team regarding league and club matters Model and reinforce values like respect, teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship Take care of training equipment and ensure sessions run smoothly and safely Help create an environment where players feel challenged, supported, and excited to improve Who we're looking for 3-5 years of experience coaching youth soccer, ideally with competitive U13-U16 teams Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with players, parents, and staff A collaborative mindset—you work well within a team and welcome feedback Reliable transportation to Capitol Hill, DC (20002), or willingness to relocate before the season starts Fluency in English; coaching licenses (USSF, UEFA, or equivalent) are a plus, but not required if you have the experience and the right approach Schedule and commitment The role begins with the Fall 2025 season. Training typically takes place on weekday afternoons or evenings, with matches scheduled on weekends. We expect coaches to be present for all league games, tournaments, and the full training cycle throughout the season. Compensation This is a part-time position paid hourly ($45

- 55/hour based on experience About the role DC Way Academy is a growing soccer community based in the heart of Capitol Hill, and we're looking for a Head Coach to lead our 2011 Boys Travel Team as they move up to the U16 level for the Fall 2025 season.
