  • Part-time Job Overview Join our dynamic youth sports program as a Youth Lacrosse Coach and inspire young athletes to develop their skills, teamwork, and confidence through the exciting sport of lacrosse!
In this energetic role, you will lead practices, coach games, and foster a positive environment that encourages growth, sportsmanship, and fun. Your passion for sports and dedication to youth development will help shape the next generation of athletes while promoting healthy activity and character building. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through engaging coaching and mentorship. Duties Plan and execute engaging lacrosse practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and safety. Coach youth teams during games, providing clear instructions and encouragement to foster a competitive yet supportive atmosphere. Teach fundamental lacrosse techniques, rules, and strategies suitable for various age groups and skill levels. Promote good sportsmanship, positive behavior, and teamwork among all participants. Monitor safety protocols during activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about player progress, upcoming events, and team updates. Assist in organizing team events, tournaments, and community outreach activities related to youth sports. Experience Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable. Lifeguard experience or background in swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), or other athletic disciplines like basketball or cheerleading is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work with children or students in educational or recreational settings. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to promote discipline and positive conduct during activities. Experience with health clubs or gyms involving youth fitness programs is beneficial. Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for mentoring young athletes.
