Job Description

Job Summary Fierce Orlando is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and positive Cheer Coaches to join our growing team. We provide after-school cheerleading programs at elementary schools throughout the Orlando area, including Apopka, Winter Garden, Hunters Creek, Windermere, Dr. Phillips, Lake Nona, East Orlando, and surrounding communities . Our coaches teach students the fundamentals of cheerleading while creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where every athlete can build confidence, friendships, and new skills. Whether students are brand new to cheer or have previous experience, our goal is to help them grow while representing Fierce Orlando with professionalism and enthusiasm. This is a paid, part-time position that is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children, staying active, and making a positive impact in their community. Responsibilities Lead engaging after-school cheer classes for elementary-aged students. Teach age-appropriate motions, jumps, cheers, chants, basic tumbling, stunting fundamentals, and beginner routines. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere for all athletes. Maintain a safe practice environment and follow all school and company safety guidelines. Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to lead each scheduled class. Build positive relationships with students, parents, school staff, and fellow coaches. Encourage teamwork, respect, confidence, and good sportsmanship. Assist with performances, showcases, community events, and other Fierce Orlando activities as needed. Communicate with management regarding attendance, class updates, and any concerns. Represent Fierce Orlando professionally both on and off school campuses. Qualifications Experience in cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching is preferred. Experience working with children is strongly preferred. Positive attitude with strong leadership and communication skills. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned school locations. Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening and meet school district requirements. CPR and First Aid Certification a plus Ability to stand, demonstrate skills, and actively coach throughout classes. Dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a professional image.
