Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gymnastics Coach and inspire athletes of all ages to reach new heights! In this energetic role, you will lead gymnastics classes, develop personalized training plans, and foster a positive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and teamwork. Your passion for gymnastics and dedication to coaching will help athletes improve their skills while having fun and staying motivated. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on our community's fitness and athletic development. Duties Design and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling, balance beams, vaults, bars, and floor routines Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper spotting and equipment checks Foster a positive team environment by encouraging sportsmanship, discipline, and confidence in each athlete Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and behavior management Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness of the training area, and prepare facilities for daily classes Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, gymnastics instruction, or related physical education roles Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and spotting methods Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct children and engage with parents or guardians Ability to manage behavior and motivate young athletes in a supportive manner Experience working with children in sports or childcare settings is highly preferred Certifications such as First Aid, CPR/AED operation, or sports-specific training instruction are required or advantageous Background in martial arts (e.g., Karate, Judo), cheerleading, climbing, or other athletic disciplines is a plus Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teamwork and discipline among students Embark on a rewarding journey where your coaching expertise helps young gymnasts develop their skills while building confidence! Pay:
$23.13 - $27.86 per hour
