Job Description

ABOUT PATHFINDER
Pathfinder Performance & PT is a brand-new integrated physical therapy and performance training clinic opening in Bonita Springs, FL this fall. We're not a big-box gym. We're not a traditional PT clinic either. We sit squarely in the middle — a place where patients finish physical therapy and keep going, where athletes get stronger while they heal, and where performance is treated as seriously as recovery. We're building a small, excellent team. Every hire matters. We're looking for people who are serious about their craft, good with people, and excited to be part of something being built from the ground up.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a part-time Sports Performance Coach to work 20 hours per week alongside our licensed DPT. This is the person who takes athletes and high-performance clients from the end of physical therapy and keeps their momentum going — or works with them during rehab to make sure sport-specific conditioning doesn't fall off while they're healing. You'll deliver 1-on-1 and small-group performance sessions, manage the PT + Performance hybrid packages that are central to our revenue model, and build referral relationships with local athletic programs. You'll work directly with the Clinic Director on all shared clients. The PT's plan of care is always the governing document — your job is to execute brilliantly within it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Genuine athlete coaching experience — you've worked with athletes and you know what that requires CSCS, NASM-PES, NSCA-CPT, or equivalent advanced performance certification 2-3+ years of documented performance coaching in a structured S&C or clinical setting Experience working alongside physical therapists or in a medically integrated environment — a plus, not required Personal training certification (NASM-CPT, ACE, or equivalent) — also a plus, not required Someone who is coachable, collaborative, and knows the difference between a training decision and a clinical one
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
This is a part-time W-2 position at 20 hours per week. Schedule includes a mix of early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays based on athlete and client demand — we'll work with you to build something that makes sense.
Base pay:
$25-$32/hr depending on experience and credentials. Performance incentive plan layered on top — quarterly bonuses tied to hybrid package sales, session volume, client retention, and athlete referrals. PERKS Complimentary access to all Pathfinder group fitness classes and facility Clear growth path — hours, title, and scope expand as the clinic grows A clinical team that respects what you do and a Clinic Director who will collaborate, not micromanage
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Benefits:
Referral program
Work Location:
In person
