Forges Sports Academy is seeking a highly motivated head coach (must have extensive basketball experience) and two assistant coaches (no basketball experience necessary) to work with our post-grad program in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Forges Sports Academy is consistently ranked nationally as one of the top post-grad programs in the country. This is an entry-level opportunity for a driven coach seeking hands-on experience in player development, recruiting, and daily program operations. This role is demanding and requires a high level of energy, accountability, and commitment to the program.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with daily practices, workouts, and game preparation Supervise players in housing and enforce program standards Lead individual skill development sessions Film, edit, and break down practice and game footage Support recruiting and assist with player placement Manage daily operations, scheduling, and logistics Handle equipment and assist with team transportation Track statistics and support scouting reports Ability to weekends as needed Strong work ethic, organization, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in high school, AAU, or college basketball (required for head coach) Former college basketball player or manager (required for head coach) Previous coaching experience (required for head coach) Experience with video software Desire to pursue a career in basketball coaching

Compensation:

Stipend position - $1,200 for head coach, $800 for assistant Plus free housing in the team house. Coaches will get their own room and bathroom Free Food Free travel and hotel for tournaments Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check.
