Calvary Christian Academy, Hollywood, FL ________________________________________________________________________ At Calvary Christian Academy, a ministry of Calvary Chapel, we are a community of Christian believers who exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ through a biblical school environment that prepares students to glorify God spiritually, academically, and socially. Our vision is to reach our community and change our world. As a minister and staff member, it is not only what we do, it is also who we are.
Purpose Statement:
The Girls Volleyball Coach is responsible for glorifying God mentoring, training, and discipline student-athletes with integrity and excellence.
Scope:
The coach cultivates relationships with all stakeholders to create the healthiest environment possible for the development and discipleship of student-athletes.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Disciple young women, demonstrate a commitment to excellence, and display character at all times
  • Design plan for girls beach volleyball program
  • Attend Coaches meetings
  • Be accountable for personal growth as well as church, outreach, and family
  • Continuing education and mastery of the game (i.e. schemes, techniques)
  • Assist with field/weight room/locker room set up and break down
  • Counseling resource for the players
