Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Volleyball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves not only teaching the fundamentals of volleyball but also fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. The Volleyball Coach will be responsible for developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Responsibilities Plan and conduct engaging volleyball practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Teach the rules of the game, strategies, and techniques to players at different skill levels. Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance. Create a positive team culture that encourages participation, respect, and personal growth. Organize and supervise competitive matches, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff regarding schedules, expectations, and progress. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during practices and games. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to support the overall athletic program. Requirements Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball or related sports . Christian-Based organization. Everything we do revolves around Christ, being a reflection of that is the mission. Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies. Ability to teach physical education concepts effectively. Background in health club operations or childcare is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with athletes, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
