Job Description
Assistant Baseball Coach (Part-Time) ProspectStars Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Baseball Coach to help develop youth baseball players (ages 11-13). This is a part-time position for an individual who loves teaching the game the right way and is committed to developing young athletes through fundamentals, discipline, and player development. Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach during practices. Teach proper baseball fundamentals, including hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, and baseball IQ. Help organize and run drills and practice stations. Provide instruction, encouragement, and constructive feedback to players. Create a positive, energetic, and disciplined learning environment. Help with practice setup, equipment, and cleanup. Serve as a positive role model for players and families. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience coaching youth baseball. College baseball experience (NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, or Junior College) preferred. Former professional baseball playing experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and player development. Excellent communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Passion for mentoring and developing young athletes. Schedule Part-Time 1 practice per week 2 hours per practice Additional opportunities may become available for camps, clinics, private lessons, and tournaments.
