Job Description
Job description We are looking for highly motivated tennis coaches in the Miami area. Private tennis lessons and after school programs. If you like tennis, this will be a good job for you. We will train applicants.
- USPTA or PTR certified preferred (or in progress).
- Ability to work with kids 10 & Under and adults
- Coach for group and private lessons
- Clean background.
- US citizenship or appropriate work visa.
- A coach with excellent communication skills, especially with kids.
- A coach who has energy and great attitude during the coaching session.
- Must have a transportation. Available anytime between 2 pm to 7. Monday
- Friday Weekend mornings and midday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tennis instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels
- Develop lesson plans and implement structured training programs
- Teach proper techniques, rules, and strategies of the game
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
- Plan and organize tennis tournaments, events, and clinics
- Maintain equipment and ensure its proper use and storage
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in tennis instruction
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate tennis techniques
- Experience working with children and managing their behavior
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons and manage schedules
- Previous experience in sports coaching or physical education is a plus
- Additional skills in lifeguarding, swimming, karate, judo, or other sports are beneficial
