  • Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football & Baseball Galaxy Sports FLA is hiring energetic, dependable weekend coaches for our upcoming seven-week youth sports season beginning September 26-27, 2026.
Coaches will be assigned to soccer, basketball, flag football, or baseball programs for children ages 3-12. Galaxy Sports provides equipment, weekly practice plans, and training. Seven-Week Attendance Requirement This position requires a firm seven-week weekend commitment. You will be assigned your own team and are expected to coach every scheduled week of the season. Because the children and families depend on the same coach being present, applicants who cannot commit to all seven weeks should not apply. Responsibilities Coach the same assigned team throughout the seven-week season Lead organized, age-appropriate practices and games Teach the fundamentals of soccer, basketball, flag football, or baseball Follow the weekly Galaxy Sports practice plans Keep every child active, involved, and encouraged Promote teamwork, confidence, and good sportsmanship Communicate professionally with parents and Galaxy Sports staff Arrive on time and assist with equipment setup and breakdown Maintain a positive, energetic, and safe environment Requirements Must be available every Saturday and/or Sunday for all seven weeks Experience playing or coaching at least one of the listed sports Comfortable leading children ages 3-12 Energetic, dependable, patient, and professional Reliable transportation Able to run, demonstrate drills, and remain active Must pass a Level 2 background check Coaching experience is preferred, but training is provided
Pay:
Up to $20 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities. Additional weekday coaching opportunities may be available through Galaxy Sports after-school and preschool programs.
