About the job St. Johns Volleyball Club is hiring coaches for our club teams (ages 10-15) at our new 18,000 sq ft volleyball facility on US-1 in St. Augustine. This job is different from most coaching jobs: you don't write practice plans, build a curriculum, or figure it out alone. Our Head Coach and Assistant Club Director plan every practice. You show up prepared, run the plan, and bring the energy. We handle the planning so you can focus on the kids. Why coaches like working here You get trained in a proven system. Head Coach Andor Gyulai is a two-time NCAA champion at UCLA with 34 years of coaching experience, founder of Volleyball1on1.com, and a four-time presenter at the national AVCA coaches convention. High school programs have used his systems to win state championships in three states. You'll be trained in those systems and coached on your coaching, paid. A team that actually likes each other. Our staff is positive, supportive, and happy to be here. No drama, no egos. A brand-new facility. Dedicated volleyball courts, not a shared school gym. Real impact. You'll work with the same kids all season and watch them grow in skill and confidence. Our club is built around long-term development, not burnout. Schedule Weekday practices, Monday-Thursday, between 4:00 and 9:30 PM (typically two evenings a week per team; more available if you want them) Local weekend tournaments roughly once a month, usually a half day, paid separately Season runs through May Pay $20-$25 per hour for 2.25-2.5 hour practices, pay based on experience $125-150 per tournament day Paid training What we're looking for Solid volleyball knowledge: you've played or coached at the high school, club, or college level, and you know rotations, overlap rules, and basic systems Reliable and on time, every time.
