In this role, you will lead cheerleading teams through skill development, routine choreography, and team-building activities. Duties Plan and execute cheerleading practices focused on skills that align with team goals and safety standards Teach cheerleading techniques, including jumps, formations, choreography, and stunts, ensuring proper form and injury prevention Foster a motivating atmosphere that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among participants Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team performance Manage behavior management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful environment during practices and performances. Experience Prior experience in cheerleading coaching or performing at a competitive level is highly preferred Background in sports coaching demonstrates strong leadership skills Knowledge of cheerleading stunts, tumbling, and choreography is essential Experience working with children or students in a childcare or educational setting is advantageous Proven ability in behavior management to foster a positive team environment while ensuring safety standards are met
