ABOUT BROOKE HOUSE FC
Brooke House FC is seeking an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated Men's Head Coach to lead our USL League Two team for the 2026 season. Brooke House FC is part of the wider Brooke House soccer and education organisation, with a strong focus on player development, high-performance environments and creating pathways for talented young players to progress into the collegiate and professional game. Our USL League Two programme provides an important platform for ambitious players to compete at a high level while developing within a professional-style environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who wants to play a leading role in the continued development and growth of Brooke House
FC. THE ROLE
Working closely with the Brooke House FC leadership and Sporting Department, the Head Coach will have overall responsibility for the sporting performance of the USL League Two team.
The successful candidate will:
Lead the coaching and management of the Brooke House FC USL League Two team. Develop and implement a clear playing philosophy and game model aligned with Brooke House FC's overall football philosophy. Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions. Lead the team on match days and oversee all game-day operations. Work closely with the Sporting Department on player recruitment, evaluation and roster construction. Identify, develop and maximise the potential of players within the squad. Create a professional, positive and demanding training environment. Provide regular feedback and individual development plans for players. Manage and develop coaching and support staff. Establish strong relationships with players, staff, colleges, professional clubs and other football organisations. Support the club's wider player pathway and identify opportunities for players to progress to collegiate and professional soccer. Represent Brooke House FC professionally at all times. Maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism and player welfare.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT A
major part of the Brooke House FC philosophy is player development. The USL League Two programme provides a platform for talented players looking to compete at a high level and pursue opportunities in the collegiate and professional game. The Head Coach will therefore be expected to take a development-first approach, while maintaining a competitive mentality and clear standards of performance. The successful candidate should have an understanding of developing players within the 16-23 age range and preparing them for the demands of the next level.
TRAINING & MATCH VENUES
Training Ground Ward Park Winter Park, Florida Home Stadium Showalter Field Winter Park, Florida The Head Coach will be expected to attend and lead all scheduled training sessions and home and away USL League Two fixtures throughout the season.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head Coach will be responsible for: Pre-season planning and preparation. Player recruitment and roster development in conjunction with the Sporting Department. Planning and delivering training sessions. Match preparation and tactical planning. Team selection and management. Game-day preparation and operations. Post-match analysis and player feedback. Individual player development. Managing assistant coaches and support staff. Maintaining communication with Brooke House FC leadership. Contributing to the wider Brooke House player development pathway. Building a positive team culture based on professionalism, accountability and high performance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum USSF 'B' Licence or equivalent preferred. Proven coaching experience at a competitive collegiate, USL, professional academy or equivalent level. Experience working with high-level young adult players. Strong understanding of player development and the US college soccer pathway. Excellent knowledge of modern coaching methodologies. Strong tactical understanding and ability to develop and implement a clear playing philosophy. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage and develop coaching staff. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a wider sporting organisation. Full driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred. USSF A Licence or equivalent and previous USL, MLS, professional academy or NCAA coaching experience would be highly desirable.
