Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor/Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating students of all ages and skill levels in swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. Your role will not only involve teaching but also ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. Duties Educate students on proper swimming techniques and safety practices. Develop lesson plans tailored to the varying skill levels of students. Conduct swim classes in a safe and engaging manner. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall swim program. Ensure all equipment is maintained and safe for use. Climb in and out of the pool as necessary to assist students. Qualifications Experience working with students in a teaching or coaching capacity, preferably in a swim or sports setting. Knowledge of physical education principles and swim instruction techniques. Certification as a Lifeguard is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. Ability to manage student behavior positively and constructively. A passion for swimming and promoting water safety among participants.
