Mercer Athletics is searching for an Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer.Responsibilities:
The assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of a highly competitive DI women's soccer program. Duties include on-field coaching, recruiting, monitoring of student-athlete's academic progress, video analysis/breakdown, other duties as assigned by head coach and compliance with NCAA and Southern Conference rules and regulations.Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and prior collegiate or professional coaching or playing experience are required. A master's degree, Division I coaching or playing experience, and recruiting experience are highly desirable. Experience with and knowledge of NCAA rules required. The successful candidate must have a strong desire, along with the ability to, promote women's soccer to the general public. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills and be able to work effectively with staff, faculty, and other members of the campus and community. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.Background Check Contingencies:
