Employment Type:
Full-Time, Direct Hire The Opportunity Our advertising agency is seeking a highly skilled, Harley-Davidson Factory Certified Technician to join our dealer's fast-paced Service Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of dealership experience and be able to start immediately with little to no onboarding. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Harley-Davidson motorcycles to factory standards, delivering exceptional service and supporting our customers' ride experiences.
Key Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, fuel systems, and ancillary components. Complete routine maintenance and service per Harley-Davidson standards (oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, suspension service, brake service, etc.). Utilize Harley-Davidson factory service information, diagnostic tools, and software to identify issues and implement repairs. Inspect, test-ride, and verify the performance of motorcycles after service. Document all service work accurately in the dealership's servicesystem; communicate findings and recommendations to serviceadvisors and customers. Complete warranty, recall, and factory update work following H-D guidelines. Maintain a clean, well-organized work area and proper use and care of tools and equipment. Assist parts staff with parts lookup and inventory control as needed. Adhere to safety policies, quality standards, and dealership procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active Harley-Davidson Factory Certification (required). Minimum of 2 years of dealership service experience repairing Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Demonstrated ability to start and perform repairs with minimal onboarding and supervision. Strong knowledge of motorcycle systems (engine, transmission, chassis, electrical/electronic systems, ABS, CAN, etc.). Proficient with OEM service literature, wiring diagrams, and factory diagnostic tools.- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and hands-on mechanical skills. Effective communication and customer-service orientation. Valid motorcycle driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics. Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in a dynamic shop environment. Flexible schedule; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
