Gymnastics Coach Tucker GA Align Gymnastics Tucker, GA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $24 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Paid training On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Gymnastics coaching experience Sports coaching class instruction Parent communication Safety-focused fitness instruction Gymnastics Training Teaching Full Job Description Align Gymnastics | Tucker, GA Align Gymnastics is looking for an experienced gymnastics coach who is excited about being part of a growing, community-focused program. We are a small program with a strong emphasis on providing a high-quality recreational gymnastics experience. We believe recreational gymnastics deserves knowledgeable, engaged coaching and well-planned classes—not simply to serve as a pathway to competitive gymnastics. At the same time, we offer competitive opportunities for gymnasts who want to take their training further, including our recreational competitive program and USAG Xcel. Who We're Looking For We are specifically looking for someone with prior gymnastics coaching experience who can confidently coach recreational classes and contribute their knowledge and experience as our program continues to grow.
The right coach will:
Have prior gymnastics coaching experience and a solid understanding of gymnastics fundamentals, progressions, safety, and spotting. Be comfortable and willing to coach recreational gymnastics classes. All of our coaches contribute to our recreational program. Be able to coach a range of ages and ability levels. Create structured, productive classes while keeping gymnastics positive and enjoyable. Work well as part of a coaching team and communicate respectfully with other staff members. Communicate professionally and comfortably with parents. Be dependable, organized, and willing to contribute to the overall gym environment—not just their individual classes or athletes. Understand the importance of meeting athletes where they are while still providing quality instruction and appropriate challenges. Be interested in helping build a positive gymnastics culture where athletes, families, and coaches feel welcomed and supported. Our Competitive Philosophy Align currently offers both recreational competitive gymnastics and USAG Xcel. We intentionally focus on providing competitive opportunities that complement our recreational program and the needs of our community. We are not currently an optional-level gymnastics program , nor do we operate a highly rigorous pre-team/lower-level developmental track designed around producing high-level optional athletes. We want prospective coaches to understand our current program structure and be excited about what we are building rather than expecting a traditional high-intensity competitive gym model. There may be opportunities for the right coach to work with our competitive athletes; however, openness to coaching recreational classes is required. Hours & Growth This is currently a part-time coaching position . Full-time coaching hours are not available at this time. As Align grows, there may be opportunities for additional classes, competitive coaching responsibilities, leadership roles, and potentially increased or full-time hours in the future. We are especially interested in finding coaches who want to grow with the program. Why Align Gymnastics? We are building a gym where the quality of a child's experience matters at every level. Our goal is to provide strong gymnastics instruction in an environment that is positive, respectful, community-oriented, and enjoyable for both athletes and staff. For an experienced coach who enjoys teaching gymnastics, values recreational athletes, works well with others, and wants the opportunity to help shape a growing program, Align offers the chance to become part of the program while it is still being built. If you're looking for a positive coaching environment where you can bring your experience, contribute ideas, build relationships with athletes and families, and help us continue developing a strong gymnastics program, we'd love to hear from you. Compensation Based on Experience. To apply, please send your resume and a brief description of your gymnastics coaching experience to .
