Immediately Job Description Head Softball Coach Summer 2027
Qualifications:
Provide leadership for the softball program while aligning instruction, expectations, and team goals with the district's athletic philosophy. Teach and reinforce softball fundamentals, advanced skills, game strategies, and sportsmanship to support student-athlete development. Plan and conduct organized, purposeful practices that prepare student-athletes for competition. Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, school staff, administrators, and assistant coaches. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that prioritizes student-athlete well-being. Foster a positive team culture centered on effort, accountability, discipline, growth, and teamwork. Coordinate game preparation, athlete evaluation, team selection, equipment management, and other program responsibilities. Ensure compliance with all school district, conference, and athletic association policies and procedures. Model professionalism, integrity, and appropriate conduct while encouraging academic and athletic success. Engage in ongoing professional learning to support the continued growth of student-athletes and the softball program.
