Position Summary and Key Responsibilities McKendree University seeks a part-time assistant coach for the Men's Basketball Program. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional organization, recruiting savvy, and player-development expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting:

Lead year-round prospect identification, communication, visits, and social-media outreach—always in full NCAA?II/GLVC compliance.

Player Development:

Design and run position-specific workouts, film/analytics sessions, practice segments, and bench coaching.

Academic Support & Mentorship:

Track grades, coordinate study hall, and foster life-skills growth.

Program Support:

Assist with opponent scouting, fundraising, alumni engagement, camps, and clinics.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Demonstrated success in recruiting, player development, and program organization. Excellent communication skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree. Two?years of collegiate coaching experience. Work Conditions Travel is required.
