The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques and safety skills to students of all ages and skill levels. This role requires a passion for water safety, teaching, and working with children in a supportive and engaging environment. The Swim Instructor will create a positive learning experience while promoting physical fitness and water confidence. Duties Conduct swimming groups/lessons for individuals and groups, ensuring safety and skill development. Assess students' swimming abilities and tailor practices/lessons to meet their needs. Provide clear instructions on swimming techniques and water safety. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Maintain a safe and clean environment in the pool area. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop engaging practice/lesson plans. Communicate effectively with students and their parents regarding progress and any concerns. Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe experience for all participants. Skills Lifeguard experience is highly desirable for ensuring student safety. Strong background in sports coaching or teaching, particularly in swimming or related activities. Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Experience working with students of various ages, including children, teens, and adults.
