Mid-October Position Summary :
The 7th-Grade Soccer Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supervising student-athletes in the soccer program. This is a temporary position for the duration of the soccer season.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan and conduct practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship Teach soccer fundamentals, strategies, and game rules to student-athletes Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and games Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members Attend all scheduled practices, games, and team meetings Maintain equipment and report any issues to administration
Qualifications :
Previous experience coaching or playing soccer preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to motivate and support young athletes Must be available for practices and games as scheduled CPR/First Aid certification preferred Reports to : Athletic Director or designated school administrator
