  • $28.00 per hour Temp to Perm 7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_175286 Spherion is hiring a skilled Performance Coach for a leading company on the west side of Indianapolis.
This position will take place in a warehouse setting. Ideal applicants will have previous performance coaching, supervisor, or other leadership experience. A resume and interview will be required for this role. This position will likely be Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p, but applicants should be flexible on shift as this is not set in stone. The pay rate is $24
  • 28/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Non-unit-producing performance coach The performance coach is not assigned to any specific work area; rather, he or she has the responsibility of impacting an entire shift or department (depending on your operational complexity). The function and expectations of a non-unit-producing performance coach are: ??? Acts as on-site support for client supervisors and the staffing suppliers to help improve performance through coaching and reinforcing desirable behaviors. ??? Conducts pre-shift meetings to update temporary talent about any changes in the workplace environment or client expectations. ??? Ensures new hires are coached on production goals and sets expectations on these ... metrics. ??? Provides the site management team with specific details on skill sets needed and real work issues faced by employees. ??? Observes and coaches talent as needed to reinforce safe work behaviors or correct undesirable behaviors. ??? Observes all new employees in work area to ensure they are working safely. ??? Ensures the safety of all employees by promoting safe operations. ??? Observes, monitors, and reports to the supervisor any safety hazards which may cause injury.
  • Reports coaching conversations to the appropriate agency representiatives Coaches do not control the means, methods or output in a client?
??s facility as would a traditional supervisor and do not have decision making authority regarding personnel moves, production activities or discipline.
