Job Description

Early Childhood Master Coach - Head Start Geminus Head Start Corporation is currently seeking a Early Childhood Master Coach for its Head Start Program. Geminus was established in 1992 and offers innovative concepts, providing comprehensive support services, human resources, communications, purchasing, accounting, finance, client billing, and management information systems, for affiliated organizations that provides behavioral healthcare and human services. Geminus is located in Merrillville, Indiana and is affiliated with Regional Mental Health Center, Geminus Head Start, and the Lake Park Residential Care; together these organizations employ approximately 750 employees throughout the Porter and Lake County area of Indiana.
Position Purpose:
The Early Childhood Master Coach position is under the direct supervision of the Education Manager. The Early Childhood Master Coach must be able to provide teaching staff working with children ages zero to five, support in the delivery of high quality education services in the Early Head Start/ Head Start Programs, and to comply with State Licensing and Federal Performance Standards. The incumbent must also be able to provide ongoing instruction and support to staff in the development of skills as identified in their perspective NAEYC, State Licensing, Paths to Quality, the CLASS Domains and the Head Start Framework. The Early Childhood Master Coach provide site support using identified screening materials for both Lake and Porter Counties. The Early Childhood Master Coach will also be responsible for providing coaching/mentoring opportunities to support all learners in the classroom environment, which may include working one on one with students. The Early Childhood Master Coach will also conduct trainings on curriculum, screenings, and assessments. They will also oversee the management of the educational resource room and provide classrooms with materials to support curriculum studies. The Early Childhood Master Coach will be assigned to all classrooms and children. Adhere to

regarding the reporting of child abuse and neglect.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
Academic:
Bachelor's Degree required in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Experience:
Two years of experience is preferred.
Pay Range:
$47,325.00 - $61,522.50
